We are dedicated to delivering effective, innovative, multi-disciplinary therapy solutions to children with a variety of neurological and developmental needs and have an opening for a new Speech Therapist to join our expanding team.

NAPA Centre offers both three-week long intensive therapy programs, and regular weekly therapy sessions to our Sydney clients. Our therapists use a variety of techniques to address oral motor dysfunction, apraxia, fluency, receptive and expressive language, social pragmatics, and feeding and swallowing difficulties, to help our clients improve overall communication and/or feeding development.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent (minimum)
  • Experience working with children with cerebral palsy
  • Experience offering feeding therapy 
  • Understanding of low and high tech ACC systems
  • Strong organisational, time management, and planning skills
  • Work effectively as a team member within our dynamic, friendly and fun, multidisciplinary team of Speech therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists
  • Love and understanding of working with children with disabilities, and to work closely with their parents and carers
  • Ability to evaluate and assess, diagnose, develop goals and provide intervention and remediation for a variety of speech and language diagnoses
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to write assessment reports, familiarity with working with an electronic notes system.
  • Membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Ability to occasionally travel for short periods of time for training  or pop up sessions may be required
  • WWCC will be required.
